HR Team Leader - Stafford - £35,000-£40,000 plus benefits

Our client, a leading organisation in the Staffordshire area is currently seeking an HR Leader to lead, manage and coach a team of Employee Advisors in the provision of a high quality, customer centric, professional HR service across their UK business.

Reporting to the  HR Business Partner, as HR Services Team Leader you will be responsible f or the day to day management of the Employee Service Adviser team, ensuring that they provide timely, efficient and professional HR advice whilst co-ordinating and overseeing the administration of HR services to the business. Key activities in the role include resource planning, training and communication to your team, quality management, service delivery management and continuous improvement as well as performance management and budgeting.

To be successful in this role you will possess experience of managing and teams in the achievement of a professional, customer centric service in a HR Shared Service operation. You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing and developing teams in an SLA driven environment, driving them in the application of HR policies and procedures to achieve procedurally correct and legally compliant customer focused service. Proficient in the use and audit of HR Information systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP you will also demonstrate experience of leading and organising the administration process to support major events such as recruitment campaigns.

With a Certificate in Personnel Practice and studying for your CIPD, you will possess a positive, can do attitude, and have strong planning, communication, organisation and processing skills. Working effectively with all levels of employees and managers, you will have the confidence to adjust the team’s workload on a daily and hourly basis to support the HR service needs of the business. Your time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills will allow you effectively analyse data and resolve issues with practical solutions.
