Our client is a large public sector organisation with a 30+ HR team to support over 23,000 employees. Due to internal re-structure, three Assistant HR Advisor roles have been created, reporting to Senior HR Advisors. Your role will be to support and advise management across the business on HR issues such as grievance, attendance and disciplinary issues. You will provide telephone and face to face support and guidance, informally problem solving to provide a solution.
You will have a proven track record in HR, although not necessarily from within the public sector. However, you must be able to demonstrate the ability and skill to give advice on complicated disciplinary issues and be flexible, a good listener, strong decision maker and be a persuasive, team orientated HR professional. You will join a diverse, professional team with a strong customer focus, working within a Trade Unionised environment. You will be willing to travel to other local sites as required and be available to start immediately if successful.
